carbon fiber hood struts

Looking for suggestions for getting hood struts for my carbon fiber hood I know that the struts closed are 10" and open is sixteen. Where do I get them? I thinking of getting them from Husky Tools, the ones they use for their tool boxes. Ideas, anyone?

Need to be pretty light weight, and i dont mean like weight of the strut, i mean like the light holding power. It would prolly crack the hood if you used the stock strength ones with a CF hood and tried to close it by pushing down at the front of the hood.

I run without, and i have a length of plastic conduit that i use to prop it open.

did you ever find a strut you were happy with?
