i put a new alternator om my 89 turbo. it was loose so i went to tighten it but i forgot to disconnect the battery and that created a huge spark. now it has no power at all please help.

Did you short out the main wire to the alternator? If so, trace the wire and check all fuses and fusible links. Lastly, test the battery in case it was damaged by the short. Good luck! Should be fixable.
check your 100 amp altenator fuse that is in the fuse box next to the battery. you shorted it out. costs $10 at toyota
