Hey guys.
I have a -10 oil cooler lines with a filter relocation, but when it has been on the car it looked like it drops the oil pressure.

Right now my mechanic suggested to run without the oil cooler but when i drive the car for 10 min it looks like the car get pretty hot, i myself think it gets 2 hot for what it should be, so i don't drive the car at all now.

Shoul i just get a small 9 or 7 row cooler with 5/8 lines (with thermostat) and try to run the car with the small cooler ? shoul this be the cause for the car to get too hot ? and also oil press. drop ?

Thanks
Sady

2nd thread about your oil psi based on your "mechanic"... google "tsrm" and read the lubrication section...

It dropped under 5 psi on cold idle! hot idele didn't move much
now its looks a little high.

I don't want to put the oil cooler back on because of the 2 psi, to low!

GRIMREAPER i did read on trsm i know the basics ok
but i want to know my options before i do something i did put too much money in this pit to fuck it up.

If you are going to upgrade your cooler circuit (and eliminate the stock filter head pressure bleed), you want to do it like this:

That said, your mechanic is an idiot...I'd get a new one ;)

Thanks, and i did!

where are you getting your readings from and with what gauge? (stock, after market, electrical?)

Autometer mechanical after market.
