Heres the story. Car will start then die pretty well immediately.

I have the car completely wired up as per this diagram, have already double checked it again. All the settings for a MK3 for verasion 5 are all entered correctly.

Seems like the ECU isnt getting the right airflow signal. With both AFM and Maftpro disconnected the car will idle fine when cold. As soon as the airflow wire from the box is connected to KS it will not run at all.

Has anyone had an issue like this because its really starting to get to me. I just want to drive my car and everything I do doesnt change a thing.. Any help is much appreciated.

Not sure what bin file is but here are the things I posted on full throttle speed.

Once thing I noticed when the car starts for a short period is that the Fo is very low compared to others Ive seen.

These are the important values to make an airflow signal

I ran the car again and idled it with KS wire unhooked.

MP 40
VE 55
RPM 650

FO 40 <--- Not sure why it is so low compared to others? Ive seen around 75 at Idle.

Hey I watched the vids you posted on Full Throttle Tech. I can't say I know why its doing what it is, but have you pulled engine codes?

The frequency out looks fine to me. My car at curb idle is about 20-30 with 550CC injectors. The mainscale adjustment will directly affect your FO. Higher mainscale percentage will give you more FO across the board (and also run richer)

Yep codes are 24, 31, 32.

I tired messing with the main scale -25 to +25 at different increments and nothing changed.

Is it normal to have a code 24 (no intake temp sensor) with maftpro because I could see that being an issue. I know with stock AFMs if theres something wrong on the temp side everything all goes to hell.

Try setting vehicle type to 2 and see what happens (edit NVM this probably wont work as this is the setting you use if spark control is wired. Was just comparing to my settings)
In TunerPro, go to File>save bin as, and save the file somplace. Next, create a ZIPPED folder and drag the bin file into it. Then upload the zipped folder. That will let us pull up all your current settings on our computers and look at it more closely.

Code 24 is normal as the air temp sensor is in the AFM, should run fine without it.

BTW what version of the Translator Pro are you running? (It will tell you when you first turn the key on). Getting Tunerpro going will make things a lot easier. Unfortunately TurboBob is the best one to help you with this issue, though his responses aren't always quick. Ive been waiting for a response from him around a month now on one of the threads he said he would get to soon.
