Cam Cover Seal Packing Alternative

Hey...

I'm doing some freshening up under the hood... replacing hard hoses, cleaaning, etc. I'm also replacing the Cam Cover gaskets. The TSRM refers, and I've read here, to placing Seal Packing at the front corners. The TSRM gives a part number "or equivalent". What is the best 'equivalent' to the factory sealant? Or should I just order it from my local dealership?
