And here is the chassis work. Its almost done but when the shell is on the rotissery i have to box the rear frame rails for strengh and to be safe. And one i box the rails im gonna make a mount for the nice alumnium towhook im gonna make. The chassis is being built nhra legial for 8.5 or slower just cuz im sick of doing shit 2 or 3 times.

The cage looks really really nice, good work. The only part I'd be unsure about is visibility past the gauge pod/front bar, seems like it might interfere a little bit, but somehow I don't think this car is going to see too much street duty.

Well your best bet would be to put swingouts on the door bars then.

Lookin good! having just put the cage in our grassroots supra, I can appreciate all the work that goes into it. One issue that I did run into though, was head room. Especially with that front Halo bar. I located ours just behind the targa top clamps, only because I ran out of tubing to make it slightly longer. It was still a really close fit with a helmet on, and yours is even further back.
Not trying to tell you what to do here or anything, but you might want to consider making another one and locating it just forward of the targa clamps/just in front of the rear view mirror (that's where I want to move ours to).

Also, what kind of seat are you using, and how tall are you? We ran a sparco sprint seat, but it had to be a little higher cuz our team members range in height so much. It's hard to see over the dash with it mounted really low though, and I'm 5'10".

Everything else looks great though! Are you gonna gusset it to the body at all? Solid strut brace FTW!

the only problem i see with this cage is no dash bar, did you tie it into the factory dash bar?
if you are only going straight it isnt much of an issue but, i would deffinatly want the front to be tied together if i was going to be any kind of road course driving.

otherwise it looks great... that group a car looks interesting as well, id love to see more picts of that
