Hey guys, ive been on the other forum for sometime and decide to come over here and show my progress. so here it goes. This was my first car which i got for $70 LOL but to make a long story short i stripped it and was left with a huge rust bucket which i sadly had to take to the graveyard. But i still hadd all te parts that came from it and sold them off slowly.

I also cleaned up some of the wireing but im not finshed cleaning all that up yet as well as i moved the fuel pump relay to where abs unit used to be so it wont be seen as easily. here are the after pics.

If any one is wondering this is going to be a track car only, hence why it has no interior, heater, 6puck unsrprung and so on.

Can still put the relay in there. Or just buy some or the part that cover it. Tere is a lot of space in there. That's where I put mine.

alright thanks will do. next step in the build is to rebuild my diff with the weir performance kit and a hydro ebrake. either using a staging brake or an actual ebrake. havent decided yet.

^No on the outside it was not to bad, driver floor board had holes straight through, fender wells were falling apart, obviously the spare tire area was shot, and lots of rust on the undercarridge and rear subframe. and i dont have good fab skills or welding skills. i can somewhat weld but all i have is a stick welder and you can use that for this lol Thanks guys

and im pretty sure the diff is working much better with this weir performance stage 2 kit!!
this\/ is a standing burnout then let off brake rev limiter in first, shift to second till rev limiter. proof that this is plenty of power. although more is always better!!

and here is a vid of my first track day. very noob driving, but it went out there and didnt break. so i think i did it right :)

i just ordered a taylor battery box (autozone one wasnt up to the task), st sway bars front and rear, and a fixed bucket will be coming soon. i could barely stay in my seat LOL

What fluid and how much lsd additive are you using in your diff? I have the same kit and it's effectively a welded diff. It never unlocks :/ I put in Ford Motorcraft 75W-90 and nearly all of the little bottle of LSD friction modifier and am prepared to put more in, but don't want it to get too loose.

P.S. the soundtrack in your video is pretty funny :biglaugh:

im just using regular old dino oil 75w-90 and it works like a charm.

????there isnt really a soundtrack to the video it just the music that was playing at the track.

I was excited when you mentioned track day. "Great! Another MKIII back where it belongs, a road course!" But then I saw drifting =[

Pictures show some very clean work on the car! Keep it up and enjoy doing what you love!
