they were low tread yeah, to be honest i thought i did a lot more damage to them than i actually did. i was stunned to see there was still tread left when i took them off.
i knew they wernt going to pop, would have needed to go much longer, and a tell tale sign that they are about to let go is when kevlar belts start flapping around in your gaurd, then you know its time to stop.
i actually stopped because i spotted the temp gauge creeping above half way.
the car was losing power towards the end, you can hear is quite easily in the video, it took a lot more effort to get it up in the revs once they had dropped because so.
what was good was, from the moment you leave that area, you roll about 5 kms down hill, so i just took it out of gear and rolled all the way home, which cooled everything back down to sane temperatures.
