I tried to search around but couldnt find exactly what I was looking for.

When replacing the stock blow off valve do I need to stay with the recirc or closed atmosphere style BOV. I have heard the if you go with an open atmosphere one that it would screw things up like the readings from the computer.

Could someone explain what can be done. If I can go with an open one is there something I would have to do. Or do I just need to get one that vents back into the intake.

you can use an open atmosphere bov but at the given moment that the bov blows off the car will run very rich for that second.....sometimes the car will stall....sometimes it will shoot a flame out the tailpipe...but you can do it.

its best to recirc but you wont break anything by going open dump.
