Hello to everyone. I have just completed a gte swap in my 88 the motor harness and the computer are from an 87. Everything went well I am just wondering about the factory boost pressure sensor. I don't appear to have a harness for this?.is it supposed to go to the engine harness or another harness?. Is the sensor needed. I would appreciate any feed back I have searched everywhere I can think.

The boost pressure sensor only drives the gauge in the dashboard. It doesn't provide input to the ECU at all.
Quick question as well on this note, since it doesn't drive the ECU at all I should just be able to put a cap on it and use that existing vacuum line/source for my mechanical boost gauge right?
