I've taken the motor out of my 88 Turbo 5 spd. I'm putting it into my '89 N/A chassis. I got a harness and ECU out of a '90 Turbo auto. I'm pretty much done, except the connector for the boost pressure sensor (left inner apron near cruise control actuator). Is the boost pressure sensor just a sender? Does the ECU take signal from it? The body harness in this area doesn't have a connector that fits the pressure sensor. The 89 n/a chassis has a 4 wire plug sticking out, but nothing that would penetrate the 3 wire sensor. Do I have to chop the pigtail off my 88 chassis? And if so, do I have to wire this into the body harness somewhere? I've looked through my TSRM but can't find how it's wired. Thanks.
