Blew off my intercooler pipe!

i adjusted my intercooler higher because it was too low. it was lower then my bumper and rubing the ground. so i finished it and took it fr a test drive and i smashed to see if it cam out wrong. i let go of the gas to hear the bov and instead of hearing the whistle i heard a pop and my car started to die. so i drove it home and it keep turning off. then i get home an i lift it to see it disconneted. wow crazy experince.

yea, that's how I found out where I needed to tighten the couplers, my car didn't die though, just went without boost. I could hear the turbo really loud too.

So either tighten your clamps as much as you can or buy T-bolts...?

Ya i do have t bolts but the intercooler site at an wierd angle and its real hard to adjust but go it done

that happen to me the other day i couldnt rev past 3k when my ic pipe came off lol but 1 of my pipes is lower than the bumper but not to much feels like your motor drops on the floor when that pipe comes off lol
