Im sure its been discussed, but whats the biggest/widest tire I can fit in the rear on stock suspension? Im going to be running a set of 15x10" Welds and I need to know if it will work. I am tryin to fit a 295-50-15. The tire comes in at 26.6" tall, which I dont think will be a problem, a 26" fit just fine. Im worried about the width.

Also, anyone know if a 15" Weld will fit up front?

Thanks.

And I'm pretty sure the 295 will fit just fine in the rear, depending on the offset on those wheels, of course. I've got 275 on there now, and 315 has been put on with the perfect offset and rolled fenders.

I was worried about the front wheels. What about with a spacer? Its just for drag racing anyway.

The rears are 15x10 with 5.5" backspacing. I want the biggest damn tire I can shove in there. Im on stock suspension and I'm going to roll the fenders as much as I can.

With the 5.5" back spacing your tire is going to stick way out of the fender well. Aren't those tires 28"tall?? I'm going to be doing the 295/50/16 MT and they are 27.8" tall Where are you getting your tires? I'd much rather have a 26.6" tall tire. I was planning on putting them on some 16x9rims, I would need a small spacer though.

Its cool man, thats what the forums are for, to get answers.

I found a set of Hoosiers in my shop that are 26x11.5x15. So will they fit? I think so, I fit a 10.5 just fine.

I guess I'll just slap em on and see what happens.

I THINK the backspacing is 5.5, it might be 4.5. Once again, I'll just slap em on and go with it. As long as they hook and dont rub on anything, I dont care what they look like.
