bigger oil cooler

My friend gave me a bigger oil cooler, and ive installed it on the car (the two hoses). I have a few questions though. I dont know how much bigger it is than stock, but i added an extra quart of oil than normal. on the dipstick, it reads above the full marking and even a little bit on the stick portion. Does the dip stick account for the oil cooler? Or have i over filled my engine ?

It's overfull but it's not going to hurt anything and is actually desirable in a 7M to run it +1qt.

Difference in volume between the 2 coolers might be only 1/4 of a Qt.

are you running the stock oil cooler system in the car? if so, adding an oversized oil cooler honestly wont do a whole lot..

i got it for free, and the stock one was leaking.

In some cases, yes. Fluidyne custom Nascar cooler w/ -10 lines/thermostat built into housing adapter. Going to try and fit this inside the bumper support when I install the SP oil pump.

Yes really, +1 isn't anywhere near the crank and is cheap insurance.
