My car will be out of the body shop next week and I will be putting everything back together. I have already cut out the front grille and mocked up the S2 air guide but would like to see how everyone installed it and what materials they used.

Here is a picture of mine mocked up last week:

Self tapping screws. Or drill holes and use bolts and nuts. Not hard. Could even use zip ties.

Shineautoproject. (The part is not on their website.)

$125 for fiberglass. $200 for carbon fiber. Shipping is an additional $25.

To order, send a paypal payment to shineautoproject@gmail.com or call 909-980-3433

I was hoping to attach it without bolting it up. Maybe some type of molding material or something. I guess fiberglass and plastic do not mesh to well together though, huh?

That group buy didn't go very far. Lack of interest from the pre 89 supra community.

Make your own.. I'm going to order one for the 89+ and modify it to fit.

To clarify, I'm going to redesign it as far as needed for it to fit perfectly.

i used pop rivets and automotive grade double sided foam tape

Exactly what i was thinking, i have my S2 air guide but i was thinking about molding it to the bumper with body puddy and riviting it also, so the vibrations don't crack the body puddy. Shouldn't even be a problem after the layers of paint and clear though.

Just got mine painted. Does anyone have any new tips? Pictures of their install? Just don't want to mess it up.
