I agree with Magnafuel as well. You just have to be careful to be sure to run a big enough pump keeping in mind that you need 33% more capacity if your burning e-85. Plus you also want to keep in mind future turbo upgrades. If I go with Magnafuel I would probably run this pump. Might as well settle the need for fuel once and for all!

The guys who run big power with big cash don't say too many good things about the A-1000, they do seem to like the fuelab brand name, and Weldon's even better

You and I seem to have the same idea. I have been doing a lot of research on pumps, regulators, filters and lines, and fuelab is currently at the top of my shortlist.

Do you plan on varying the pump speed at all? Have you seen the electronic regulator that is due to come out later this month? If it works well, I think its a genius idea to vary the pump based on return volume.

Interesting, I am going to pass this on to Sean (funky_monkey58), as he does the lions share of my work. He's getting expensive nowdays but since he sold his old built 7m, doesn't have a hot car to drive, and I let him run my car for a few passes at the track.

Chip, do you know anyone running one of these Fuelab electronic regulators? I read a bit more on them and I am interested. It seems they make several versions of them. The 529 series seem more along the lines of what we need vs. the 565 as they can support up to 1800 h/p. I want to learn a bit more so I can be sure to buy the correct one.

The electronic regulator is not released yet. I was just throwing that out there.

Some setups vary the fuel pump speed on either, boost, RPM, or some combination of other inputs. While fuelab's new regulator would control the pump depending on return flow, and the engines needs. So instead of guessing on when and how much control is needed, it would now be controlled in a closed loop. Doesn't that sound like a good thing to anyone else? (if it works reliably)

I received several e-mails from Brian @ Fuelab. The 529xx will be out later this month. He recommended the 52901 electronic regulator for my street/track car in combination with the 41401 or if planning on over 800 rwhp, the 41402.
