auto to manual conversion question

Do I need to replace the ECU or could I just jump 2 wires? My buddy did that when he converted his 240. I was wondering if I could do the same. Thanks

Find the NSW and jump the 2 wires.

Neutral safety switch? Just making sure. Where is that located? Clutch pedal? Because I wouldn't have one since it's auto.

Yes, Neutral Safety Switch. It will be with the plugs that go to the tranny.

Just look in the TSRM TEWD to find the exact wires.
