Just wondering if anyone has used this brand or whether its trustable or not? Its ECT sensor made by Niehoff. It was only $17 at Checker Auto. Their website looks decent. Any input? Thanks

The website doesn't mean really anything. I haven't heard from them. They might make some, all or very little of the parts they sell. They could buy sensors from Bosch or Nippondenso, and repackage.

I can't imagine at $17, they spent much on R&D, or materials.

Think of Niehoff as an even cheaper grade than Wells. They will usually get the vehicle running but there is no quality inside the part.

I'm not actually throwing a code 22 right now, but the problem I'm having seems to lead towards the ECT sensor. I also though that I heard sometimes even if the sensor is bad, it still wont give a code.
