auto meter boost Gauge

I have this old boost gauges and behind the lens is dirty. I didn't know if there is a way to take off the lens to clean it. It doesn't unscrew and I tried to pull it off but I don't wont to brake it. Any input???

Its a Phanton Auto Meter 20psi boost gauge....

Have you tried taking off the housing, then see if there are screws from the side?

What do you mean? Theres the lens on top that spins, hole in back for the light, a vac line on back, and then thats it.

Hmm, no screws on the back? Have you tried to see if the housing unscrews?

There is two wing nut type nut on back but there go to the number face place and I've tried to unscrew the housing put it just spins hound and round??? Thats how I thought it came off too. I also tried to pop it off with a flat head put that just bent it a little!!!

On a side note were did you get the smiley on the bike???

twist and pull, if the housing is plastic be careful, if it's not, have at it..

I tried pulling on it but it started to bend!!! (Its aluminum) The gauge is like 9 or so years old so it might be really stuck on. I'll try again

no real way to do it without deforming the ring around the glass. I broke mine trying to do the same thing.

F*** it I'm just going to get a new one. The bracket broke off it too so that was it!!!!!!
