I'm sure in not the only person to have this problem , & its probably quite common, so here is my problem

When I select the AUTO fan speed on my 87 SUPRA . it always waited UNTILL the heater supply had warm water from the engine , BEFORE blowing. Now , it just starts right way , like all non auto , electronic heaters used to do . Its probably some electronic servo control , but i need a starting point to fix it .

My question ..
• what do you think the problem is that is causing the blower to not get the temp signal to start ?
• Where do I start to diagnose it , what servo , or piece of equipment do I start to test first and then ….
• If you have come across this issue in past, where do I get the electronic parts to fix it ?

I really like this site and its incredibly useful for all us SUPRAFREAKS out there .

I appreciate the webmaster for creating this incredible website -- thank you .

I prefer the gradual warm up rather than waiting and having the cold windshield hit with warm air and cracking. It sure is a fancy feature though to not have cold air blow on you in winter.
