getting ready to put my block togetehr when i noticed the arp main studs i got have 12 studs and nuts and two bolts...where are the 2 bolts suppose to go?middle cap with the thrust washers or main #1 with the widest bearing?

i just called arp and tehy said the go on # 3 cap, i'm guessing cause the oil pump goes on top of it.studs might cause clearance issues...

I use 85 ft/lbs.
It's important to do them in steps 30/60/85 and crisscross starting at the centre and work out in a spiral.
You also want to torque them to 80 using the above method (saving 85 for the final install) and then undo them in sequence 2>3 times to burnish the threads as you can't do a retorque once installed.
