So anyways, I ended up "absorbing" Aries' build.
For those of you unfamiliar:
Fully built 7M
Unfortunately I did not inherit the wheels.
Fast forward to now:
The car currently has 3 unusable pistons.
3 are in perfect shape, 3 have chips on them.

It looks as though something was sucked into the engine, possibly when it was ran filterless for a few days.
The engine looked as though everything was properly assembled, aside from the shimming of the valves.
Here it is as it sits now:
It currently receiving some body work while I wait for a set of pistons. I'm grabbing a new block/head to start anew.
I have a set of Tein Superstreets and Suspension Techniques sway bars that will be installed once the engine issues have been sorted.
