so i needed a new valey cover, called toyota:nono: no thanks.
called up a guy i know and had 10 pcs. laser cut for me out of mild steel.
and then applied a layer of carbon on top using high heat resin and clearcoat.

long story short, i have 8 of these left in Carbon fibre
you can see in the pics exactly what they look like.
they look amazing installed in the car, the fit is perfect.

You covered the whole engine bay in carbon?

Haha yup he made a thread about it. Pretty crazy.

Doesn't look like these actually seal though, do they?

they dont really need to seal, it only stops crap from falling into the sparkplug valley.

as long as your valve cover gaskets dont leak you wont have a problem.

thanks for posting the link guys:icon_bigg
all i can say about the engine bay, is that i'll never do it again:biglaugh: SOOOOOO much freekin work.

I know what it does. My valve covers don't leak, I just to know that if they start the oil will stay topside long enough for me to spot it without waiting until the galley fills up.

They look great by the way and the price is excellent. I think a GB on these might do well given the low pricetag.
