gonna look at the car on friday. its condition will determine what im gonna do. if it is nice enough il do the swap if not il take what i need for my 5spd swap and part the rest.

For what good reason? Back in the early to mid 90's we didn't have LS engines..

Well, if you're looking for a reason the Miata guys switched from the 5.0 to the LS, you can ask all the Mustangs that I picked on in my SS when I was driving that... That said, you make a good point about the availability of the LS back then, I hadn't really considered that.

To the OP, I know a guy on here who goes by SySt has swapped an LS6 into his Mk3. Nice build if I say so myself.

well, just got back from looking at it, gonna buy it for 500. but it is to rusty for any build. gonna part it out. it is an 87 targa car. bad rod knock and milkshake for oil......gee what happened?
