Are they any Shine auto discounts or promotions going on? Looking to get a full body kit+spoiler, and just trying to save a little scratch. Thanks

Yeah, prices are wonderful, always room to haggle though. I've seen various holiday and special discounts here and there, but were long ago and I didn't own a Stupra then.

Sometimes they do a combined shipping thing... That's how I got my whaletail & front lip... DFW guy ordered a bunch of stuff for the locals and saved us a bit of $$. There was no shipping discount for the 2nd front lip I recently ordered tho :-(

Anybody ever buy through MVP motorsports? Same cost as shine, shine parts. I asked him why buy from the "middle man" and he said he can get through to shine faster cause they don't answer very well? Is this a reputable place or what? I'm spending over a grand for this crap and need to know I'm gonna get it and it's quality stuff.

Well if your already considering it crap then simply just don't buy. Shine auto project is high quality. I spend a about a grand a year ago. Lost my lip due to improper installation of my part. But during the time I had it, That thing saw a shitload of scraping and it still looked good. Barely any signs.

I did not get much comms from Shine, but ordered/received without a hitch (as recommended in another thread). MVP is also a long-known supporter of the Supra community and their guys are very kewl to deal with... They even let me buy a bunch of stuff at a meet, using Paypal from my phone. You won't go wrong using either vendor.

I used to work for MVP as their MK3 specialist. They are VERY customer service driven and always strive to give the best service they can and they actually stick to that, even should something not go according to plan. I am about to order some Shine products myself and will be using MVP for that reason.

I'm pretty sure the prices are almost the same from MVP or Shine. MVP drop ships direct from Shine and do not keep it in stock there in DFW to ship. If they pay to ship to them first of course the shipping would skyrocket. If you want to be kept in the loop and have someone readily available to answer the phone, go through MVP and let them deal with Shine. It is unfortunate that because they have a direct dealing with them that their communication can be better than with an end user if you bought directly from Shine. Shine gets the money either way, but I'll support one of the largest Supra parts resellers in the country at the same time :)

I've been emailing back and forth w MVP. I told him the price of shipping that I got from shines shopping cart, he wrote back in disbelief of the price then I emailed him(MVP) a pic of shines shopping cart, he said I'll match it. I called and talked to shine and the shipping was half that of what the internet said. Shine said the cart isn't smart and he(shine) can ship multiple items in same box. So if MVP is that familiar w shines shipping costs, I feel pretty taken advantage of, so needless to say no MVP for me. Cut out the middle man and go straight to shine.
I talked to ken at shine and he had all the time in the world to talk to me as if we were college roommates. He discussed what's in stock, different options available and even custom made parts specific to me. He took 13 minutes of his time to make a new lifetime customer. Salute!
