Any idea what this is?

This is attached to the fusebox under the dash in my '91 Turbo. It has a switch on the front, and a red light on the bottom. I'm at a loss for what it is... Maybe some kind of security function? Anyone have any ideas?

From its location i guess that it is some sort of remote control and alarm device.

It's not stock that's for sure. Prolly some sort of alarm.
