LMAO wow !! THere are PLENTY supras With this problem i see.. And so far the best solution is all the way down or all the way up ! lmao xD

I hear rattling in either position. I never have the windows anywhere inbetween. Just all the way up, or all the way down.

Would definitely like a parts list to knock this issue out.... Maybe we could even do a write-up for replacing the pieces and adjusting the window (if there's not already one out there).

I've looked high and low, but I can't find the invoice with all of the parts required, however, I'll dig into the boxes I store my parts in and get the parts nos tonight if possible....

67241-14021 - stabilizer, door glass, inner (1 ea door)
90209-09005, standard part (window bushing, 4 sets ea door)
69801-14100 - regulator sub assy, front door window, RH
69802-14100 - regulator sub assy, front door window, LH
91651-40612(2) - standard part (regulator guide channel, 1 ea door)

This is what I found, bounce this off what Jeff recommends, I might not have everything needed now.....

Also, the EPC showing parts....

...resurrecting the thread.

I hadn't gotten to this project yet, but think it'd be a good one to do over the Winter.

Did anyone else order/document all the pieces/prices needed for this work...?

Write-ups or tips?

i'd love to see into this. I hate how there is so much play with the windows. every time it goes up and down it makes squeaky noise

Soon as I can find time to put together the parts list, I can see what the cost/turn-around is from Toyota.

I have a targa leak I can't fix and am now going to replace the actual targa istelf (w/leak fix already done), fix/adjust the windows, and add weather sealant in those areas in at the top of the pillars, that may also be prone to leaks.

I looked in the other 2 pages of the thread and could not find the link to the parts diagram (the break out)... Wanted to get a list together and see what the Toyota vendors could do, so that I can get to this project soon

Please post the link to the door/window parts diagram where I can see all the part numbers to place an order.

THX!

Thanks Rakkassan, I saw the EPC http://cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/EPC/291420/catalog.aspx?F=6704&P=1 link you had. I also grabbed the parts list and pricing from www.toyodiy.com --- http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_U_199101_TOYOTA_SUPRA_MA70L-BJMVZA_6704.html

This other parts catalog lets me select the part on either side of the screen and highlights it on the diagram or list on the opposite side of the screen. Makes it much easier to see what the part is and where it goes.

This is everything that listed at about $706 (not including the door hinges). but I know that I would not be replacing the regulator ($146 x2), or the plates @$27 each. So, look at the EPC and this parts list and if you are wanting to refresh the grommets/washers, select just about everything at the top of the diagrams. You probably want to open the door up and see what you think you really need 1st... You may not need the stopper, trim support, or plate (68117B) and can save even more. Comes to less than $100 to replace the grommets/washers, etc, not including the regulator and other hardware you may already have.

I created a CSV file (open with Excel) to list/track the pieces I'd get and expected cost...add the regulators and hinges and you should be all set... http://www.g099521.net/pics/window.csv
