alternators upgrade

just wondering what you guys are using for alternators on the 1jz

i seem to need more amps.
i know the sc300 is a direct fit, but just wondering if anybody is using something else that has a higher amp than the sc300 110amps.

i already killed 2 sc300 alternators in 1year with less than 300miles driving on the road (or is it just my luck the alternators were used and it was time for them to die)

Has anyone used the powerhouse racing alternator sc300 150amps? $499
I called my friend at Toyota they have one that puts 120amps for the sc300. $200

just wondering what everyone is using and is there another option.
I want a bolt on alternator, dont want to be messing, relocating things around.

hey keo.i bought paul's car and it had a reman sc300 alternator.he was lucky if he put 1500 mile's on the car when it was registered.let me know if you want it.you don't even have anything in your car to pull alot of amp's.one thing i notice with my car is,when i don't use it for a while it draws down the battery.this will end up putting a load on the alternator and burn it up

pm sent, yea i know i dont even drive the car. I dont even have enough electronics in there yet to even burn the alt. im like wtf.

this has to happen to me. just my luck.
