So my previous best was 470rwhp at 24psi on race gas. Since then I added, AEM EMS, 272 BC cams springs and retainers, KSracing intake manifold, 3" piping, q45 tb, 680cc injs (was 550cc), etc.

I'm still on my little 61 turbo.

So last night I had no problem hitting 471rwhp/417ft-lb on pump gas, 18psi, revving all the way to 7400 rpm. That's just as good on pump gas as I previously did on race gas.

then

? rwhp/540ft-lb on 110/93oct mix, 28psi. It went lean as soon as we hit 5000 rpm. The walbro 255 finally got maxed out. We think we would have done 600 rwhp if we could have kept the fuel pressure up and revved it into the 7000s. We did actually hit 499rwhp which is awesome for only 5000rpm.

My plan is to run a Bosch 044 pump inline with the Walbro and -6 lines. I almost have this SP61 maxed out then I'll go with a 70.

Good numbers. I like they way you are "safely" maxing out your fuel limits. At least this way you can see what you need to get to the next level. The same for the turbo, too. I was once critisized for attempting to max out the fuel system before upgrading.

Congrats on the numbers. How do you like the AEM? Is it hard to control the knock with it?

I let my tuner handle most of the tuning with the aem. He hasn't had a problem controlling knock. The biggest problem is controlling the idle. Its either too high or dies. I've been fighting a good idle for months.

It is my humble opinion that the factory computer has always been the the biggest obstacle a 7m faces in making good power. In good power I am not just talking about peek #'s but power under the curve .

Congrats... give it some fuel and then give it Hell

Almost a 10 inch....nevermind :biglaugh:

Awesome numbers. I cant wait to get cams and FFIM. How come you dont go with a second walbro? If one got you to where you are now, two should be plenty.
