For the radiator hoses, I know you used to be able to get braided hoses that size, but I have not seen them in around 6 years. I figure for that silicone or stock. I meant for the 5/8 hose and 1/2 and such. As for using an fittings you can get end caps for them to end the line, you probably wont get as much strength out of the braids but it will end them and keep them from pulling.

Not sure if earls has the end caps but I know there are some out there that exist. Also there are a few other places that sell earls style hoses but half the price, cant remember what companies they are. Check a summit racing catalog I know they have a few brands.

Also I know all the samco hoses I have seen are designed for 1j and 2j says it will work with 7m but is a little short and have to be modified. And you can get them a lot cheeper than that ebay post. Got mine from driftmotion.

If you do weld on fittings and hose ends you can do the radiator hose in -20 but it ends up costing $400 just for the top hose

To use the braid on the rad as per regular lines the -20 is too small, I think you may need a -24?

For the other lines I think maybe a -8 line would work. You could always pull the heater core out and weld fittings on it

Remember with braided lines anything it touches gets destroyed from rubbing. Those lines at the back there are moulded partly to keep them away from the firewall and other stuff, not sure on the US car but on the RHD car braided lines there probably wouldnt work out too well

There is a seller on eBay in the UK who sells the correct 7M radiator hose kit (confirmed the part number) there is a bit of a lead time on them, I have ordered them just now, see how things go. They list the accessory hose kit for RHD car too, rather expensive but I may give it some thought

I have been considering doing the black braid for some of the lines I used to have in SS but the kevlar braid is so many $$$

The GATES RACING hoses which were the reinforced blue ones have been discontinued. I used to sell alot of them, then went to make an order awhile back and no more. I was like WTF!? They were like, not enough demand. I was like REally? Cuz i sold alot of them. Whatever, sucks

For the sake of your sanity people, replace this hose if you haven't already. Best to do it while the intake diisassembled during a rebuild, otherwise pull the alternator and hope you hands are skinny enough, and use a mirror. That little job just about drove me to Prozac.

If your going to replaace either little "L" shaped hose that are under the cps or at the back behind the exhaust mani get the hose from toyota. The gates 1 is like 5-6 and the 1 from toyota is 17. If you feel like fight them for 30 is worth the 10bux do by all means. But the 1 from toyota will take 5 min to replace. For some reason the auto stores use a smaller hose and you have to cut to fit.
