Ok guys for some reason I can't trigger the alarm...I got it to work it just when it goes off I don't know how to shut it off....then I don't know if its on

i just put my key in the door and turn it like im unlocking it. factory right? i guess if that doesnt work put it in the ignition.
You can tell if its on or off by the security light it's in the far right corner of your cluster.

Make sure the doors hood and hatch are all closed. It won't arm it's self if one of those aren't closed all the way. So go around the car and close everything just to make sure. lock The doors and it should arm. If not you may have a bad switch.
