alarm question

so today my car wanted to play a little games and i couldn't start my car for a little but i got in after waiting longer (you know lock the dors get out wait a minute unlock the doors and get in)

so my question is: is there a actual time frame for the kill switch or alarm to reset?

i know the light will stay red and then start blinking again, is that when it resets?

When your alarm is functioning properly you can disarm and start the car. Once you unlock the door with your key its ready to drive so to say.

When you close and lock the door there is a period where the alarm is getting ready (just like a house)

yeah i think i need to have whatever is moving in the door greased up or whatever because sometimes it get stuck a little when using the key or the switch which causes the alarm to go off

i'll check some other posts too
