So about 2 days ago, I raced this trans am. Drove home parked no problem. Next day I open the hood to check oil and my air filter was covered in it. This is the first time this happens ever since I bought the car. I believe it started to happen after I put back the stock PCV pipe. Before, I had it routed to the floor.
My turbo and accordion as well as air filter are pooled in oil and today on my way home I did a small pull and after that my AFM went to shit. Had to limp it home.
My question is: why would this be happening? Shouldn't the pcv system help and instead its doing this... I took off the pipe and blew through all holes and it was fairly easy to blow through. I have 21 in/hg vacuum and motor feels strong and boosts hard. Could it be my rings?
