How much of a benefit are the new features, really, in a real world sense, am I going to miss not having them if I go for a 6860 or stinger setup.

It seems that there is a pnp for the factory 2jz harness. This is from their webpage....

The last ems I ran was on my old setup and was a 7mgte with full hks gear...Fcon,vpc, boostcontroller, fcd, timer etc. And of course this was piggyback.

Idon't really want to sweat the couple extra bucks for the series 2 if its going to save me any kinda headaches at all. A quick sum up of my new 2jz setup are...

GT4088r
850cc injectors (or possible 1000cc)
lightweight flywheel, aluminium driveshaft
4" engine back exhast
3" IC piping
big front mount intercooler
six puck clutch

etc..... gives you the idea the direction I'm heading anyways.

You can check my streetfire page if you wanna see some pics and such from awhile back of the build.

Thanks for any input guys.

If I was you i would wait and get used box that someone upgraded for fraction of the cost. Unless you have 1600cc you dont need the peak and hold. The ignition outputs can be modified and on the old EMS1 so you do get to remove the igniter if you so wish. Obviously the procesing speed the USB conectivity is nice but I dont think it is wort the extra cash... Unless you have to have it.

What trans and clutch are you running?
