I did do a search so I'm sorry if this is a repeat question. I put an 89+ wing on my 87 turbo and kept the original antenna. The antenna eventually busted now I want it to be like the 89 style. My motor is still working so can I just buy the nylon cable and mast for an 89 or do I need to get the whole assembly to make it work right? Also I hated the 87 gauges so I swapped in the 89 gauges into my cluster so I could keep my super computer. My car has been down for a while and got it running and my fuel gauge doesn't read accurately (I did the gauge swap when it was down) do i need the 89 sending unit to make the fuel gauge read properly?? I know it's not the float after a good amount of money.
