Recently, somehow, the nut for my A/C idler pulley worked itself loose, causing the pulley, and the belt to come flying off as I was driving along. I ordered a new pulley, and I have a nut for it, but it doesn't seem to be fitting right. It seems like there should be a washer or something between the pulley and the bracket it bolts to.

I took a couple pictures. I was wondering if you guys could tell me if I'm missing anything from the assembly.

There's washer thingy and a flanged nut that holds it on. Odd the EPC doesn't show it. Goes on the side the bearing is inserted into. The tensioning bolt enters on the closed side ie; the idler is on backwards in the second pic.

Anyway, you want the inner race fixed to the bolt rather than have the race try and rotate around it. That's what the washer thingy does.

Junk yards or for sale section or post in wtb section.

Seems like you should be able to get it from Toyota tho.
