Was just a joke Jostar. :p

I've seen your car's thread, it's a nice one for sure.

So how many people have idiot drivers around where they live?
I live in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area and the beltway around this area makes me question how people even got their license...
No one uses their turning signals, and everyone is trying to get where they need to get to in the least amount of time...

I only drive my Supra like once a week and try to enjoy a nice ride into work like once a month, but even still... this guy almost hits me...
I am turning into my office building which has a 90 degree/perpendicular turn into the entrance and the main road is 2 lanes...
The guy behind me flies into my lane, and doesn't want to look forward, and he is already a foot behind me, while I am ready to make this turn into the entrance...
I slow down slowly, watching both the turn and paying attention to the guy behind me and he slams on his breaks enough to make the tires skid... looking to be an inch away from me...
It's enough for me to get out of my car and make sure that he didn't tap my bumper... Luckily nothing was damaged...

Sorry for the rant, but after one recent visit to the collision shop, it just reminds me how hard it is to keep our old and rare cars in good shape...

Welcome to the less fun part of owning a nice Supra: worrying about everyone else. For what it's worth, worry can add nothing to your life but stress. True story, it's even in the bible. :p

Seriously though, was having a discussion about this with a coworker recently. It's hard finding that balance of caring too little, and caring too much... You cannot control how other people drive unfortunately. I would LOVE to know how accident statistics are in other countries that have intense driver training (Finland comes to mind first). I'd be willing to bet that you just don't see accidents on a daily basis like we do here.

Anyway, make sure you take plenty of pictures of your car, and find other ads for sale for comparable condition cars, for documentation purposes. Just in case. I plan on insuring mine for at least 25-30k.

hahaha yeah you're right...
Even during my lunch break today, I questioned myself parking in between cars at the mall just for 20 minutes thinking someone will bang their door against my car...

As for other countries, correct me if I am wrong, but in Russia, there is no insurance and the only liability people have are video cameras which explains why they always have one in their cars...

You can only do so much to protect your car.

Even when parked, it's not safe..

That breaks my heart to see, is that your 92? For what it's worth, it looks like your car probably took that like a champ...

Wow, and I thought I've had bad luck... Hopefully everything was taken care of and if anything, better looking than before...

More pics... Sorry for the low quality but this was 8:30pm and very low light... which my phone isn't good at taking...
I will get much better ones and one of my friends (a photographer) has been begging to get a photo shoot with some models (and she isn't sitting on the hood or roof)...

Random drive pulled off a viewing area from a parkway...

After getting this car up and running, everything has been great and I still have a lot to do...
After 1500+ miles of driving after getting it up and running, there have been no issues such as engine tapping or idling issues...
I try to be ahead of the game with anything possible, as I have been reading about rod knocks after head gasket replacements...
The turbo is all still stock and pulling strong at 6.8 psi so should I be worrying about a rebuild(for the turbo) anytime soon?

This car has required less maintenance than my 2002 Honda S2000 when I owned that...

Niceee, where was this taken? Was it on a route towards Washington D.C?

Thanks it's on G.W. Parkway...
Direction away from D.C. as you can only enter these visiting areas from that one way...

Here is my friends Mitsubishi Evo VIII (2006 I believe) which hasn't been taken care of the best...
Oxidized paint, door dings, and clear coat chipping from the carbon fiber wing...

I still love the way our old-schools cars look compared to most newer cars...

Not related but I found this pretty funny...
Some random 350z parked at my work garage...... don't know what's worse, the band-aid, banana or the license plate...

I believe the term you're looking for is "good". ;)
