Difference was 89+.
Was a little beefier and had the bolt in braces. That's it.
A little more precisely - braces were added due to issues that the factory racing teams were having with the subframes in the Turbo A model and then propagated in all production MA70s - first officially homologation in he JAF book as "Reinforced Suspension Member" on Nov of 1988 with a picture taken in Japan on July 16 of the same year. This will explain why some 88 cars (like mine) had the taps on the subframe ,but no actual braces
And yes - no changes in 91 ... the subrame on my 92 was the same old - bad CAD-less design ,bad Toyota welds ,etc ...
