So, real quick yes/no question. Can I put a '90 engine with intake/injectors/etc into a '87 and it plug up? If not, I assume all my '87 stuff will convert from my engine to a '90 engine, right?

Thanks....AGAIN!!! lol

Beer for everyone that answers

Ok....now this. The engine comes with a 90 (of course) ECU and harness. Can I install the entire thing? The 90 is an auto trans engine/ecu but its going in a manual '87.

I put an '87 GTE into an '89 car. I used the '87 electronics and wiring harness.

The ABS didn't plug 'n play, and there were a couple of small issues, but it worked.

If you're putting the '90 engine in and using the '87 electronics, then you'll need to change up a few things. Injectors will need different clips, but those can be done.
