So I'm driving up town (back when the car was on the road) I pull up at the set of lights next to my friends '82 Mustang. The thing is very far from stock.
We are heading up to 7-11, he needs gas, I want a slurpee. We get to the set of lights, we sit there waiting for the light to go green, we always race and he always kills me. This time the lights go, I get the jump on him and stay in front of him. I was shocked, I was like "did I just beat the Stang!?!"
I get to the place where we were headed and get out and wait for him to show up. About 15 min later he finally shows up. I asked what happened, he said "Remember how I was joking if I make it? hahaha"
I guess what happened is right when he went to pass me he ran out of gas
That is the only good kill I ever got with my car, no one would ever race me, there was this old guy in a Riviera that tried, but once I figured out what he was doing I was already past him. Can't wait to get the new car
