89+ Tails?

Has any one Put 89+ Tails on a Pre 89 with out the center piece that makes it look like 1 piece. I was considering this. But i was wondering if any one has pictures of this. Because the 89+ tails are a bit bigger and look diff. But i dont want that center piece connecting the two to make it look like a damn probe or 240

just paint the center peice to the color of your car, its just a reflector, pleanty have been done. som one will chime in here and post up some pics. later.

What are you going to put in place of the center then? The sizes are diffent then the pre 89's so it won't fir right. You can just paint your 89+ center as many have done.

lmao, thats my car, i just opened it with paint, and paintred the center piece, just tryin to give him a little idea guys. lol
