89+ Tails Center section

Ok... I have the JDM tails. I was wondering if the center section trim piece can be altered or removed? I would like to keep the current 86-88 trim moulding look on the car. I noticed that its all plastic.

Any suggestions? advice???? :1zhelp:

It can't really be disassembled without modifying it in a way that prevents reassembly.

It can be done, but you're going to need to get creative.
