Hi,
My dash cluster has stopped working, all i did was disconnect the battery and reconnect it, tracing the wire from the fuse box i tested the voltage all the way to the back of the cluster and it has power, clock illuminates and so does the warning lights (check engine, hand brake etc)
the tacho wont illuminate, the speedo wont, either will the boost/oil pressure gauges, fuel gauge and temp are also not working. even the outlines wont illuminate.
the idiot who had my car before my placed a 25A fuse where a 7.5A fuse should have been. my guess is that the clusters been fried.
see the connector under "2" with the 4 pins, that is the main power supply from what i can tell. since its not listed anywhere, is this main power?
for all i know i could be testing it wrong.
