89 7MGE alternator plug diagram?

Does anyone here know what the wiring diagram on the plug for the alternator is on an 89 mkIII? my 7m blew so im doing a 1jz swap but ive got a talon tsi sitting in my drive way with a bad alternator, so i've got the alternator mounted in the tsi but need to do the wiring and google has not been my friend this morning lol. thanks guys

Uh, if you think B/Y is ground you probably shouldn't be messing with this stuff.


B/Y is ignition (IG) switched 12 volts for powering the IC regulator which in turn controls the field winding.

Y/G is the warning lamp (L). Unlike many older cars failure of the lamp in this system will not result in a lack of charging.

W is the sense (S) line. It tells the regulator what the voltage is at the battery so the system can charge it more accurately.

B is the big wire back to the battery (B). The alternator output.
