Hey guys, this is my first post. I am doing a full workover on my car and testing all elec. circuits. When testing the C.P.S. for continuity from all 3 pickups, I noted that G2 is open even when the shaft is spun. The part is removed. I called Toyota and they just gave me the run-around... I own a detailed Toyota service manual for it and all it gives is the Ohm rating for each circuit and it's path to the E.C.U., not if G1 and G2 both work all the time. I am under the assumption that G1 and G2 go to the C.P.U. for ignition, and NE is for cam position. Can anyone verify G2 pickup function?
