This may have already been asked, and if it has, my apologies...

Can you run 87/88 trim with an 89+ bumper? I'm swapping over my drivetrain from an 89 to an 87 next year, was wondering if there were any specific pieces of trim that are not going to work. If I'll just have to swap over the trim from my 89, that'd be fine, but the trim on this 87 is in really good shape, so...

If I understand correctly are you putting 87/88 trim on an 89 vehicle?

If that's the case then it should all work fine. it's only a problem if you go in reverse 89---->87/88 the rear tail light sections are different and you need the 89 lights otherwise the trim looks weird.

of course you can, theres nothing that will be wrong with that, if 87-88 people can use 89+ trims, it will work vice versa
Not sure why I didn't think of that...

Other way around. Currently have an 89, all my fun parts are going into an 87 with a really nice body. Will be transporting an 89 front bumper to the 87, as well as the tail lights. Probably gonna have to re-use the turn signals too, huh? Oh well, I like them too.

Thanks for pointing out my dee-de-dee moment guys. :)
