86.5 diff ques

I tried search first but couldnt find the rite answer. It sounds like the majority is sayin ford 70w-90 lsd but my car has a open diff. What is the best gear lube for this? It also is at 230k miles. thanks.

That's still good gear lube.

FWIW, you can get a 4.300:1 LSD from an NA either in the States with the sport package, or from any Canadian spec NA.

Thanks for the tip. I still need to know if the lsd lube can still be used even though I have a high mile open diff.

For open diff with high mileage I would just use regular 80w/90 gear oil valvoline or what ever is cheaper.

I tried to find 80w/90 but its no where to be found. All I find is 70w . Any other suggestions?
