Hey all, i have had no luck finding a rebuilt cps online or at toyota. G2 pickup is no good (open). So does anyone have an option or know if i can rebuild g2 from the windings up?

I bought one from Autozone a year or two back. It works well and the craftmanship on it looks good. One coil measured slightly out of tolerance according to the TSRM. I took it back and tested a second one in store - same result. The rebuilt ones must use a different coil.
I'd still love a brand new OEM from toyota, but the price point is a bit absurd.

Ive never had the electrical internals go bad on a cps, just the external wiring and inner seal.
If it were me, I'd buy a used one without reservation, and purchase a rebuild kit from www.twosrus.com

I picked one up used off of e-bay and swapped it all out. Higher resistance than my factories by .10 ohms and diff. plug colors. Gapped it and sealed it up.
