How to tell a Non turbo automatic apart from a turbo automatic ? From my understanding non turbo has less clutches ? Never played around with the automatics and know someone who thinks he has a turbo automatic but want to make sure thanks.

In the technical specifications there is one more friction and steel listed, and it seems like a bigger piston for application.
Thanks is there something on the transmission casing that tells you if it was a Non turbo or a turbo model ?
If it has inspection plates in the bellhousing, you've got a r154 (turbo) tans. If not, it is a w58 (non-turbo) trans.
