I ran a GE head in my 86.5 when I did the GTE conversion. No issues whatsoever. This subject has been discussed billions of times. It's only a factor when you have certain power goals. My setup was stock so wasn't concerned.
There really needs to be sticky on this since it's brought up so much. I'd do the write up if only I knew what I was talking about.;)

More lift for the GTE cam.

There was a change in the intake cam on the GE engine. The Cressida had it first, then the Supra. So you may not even get the same results as somebody else, even buying new.

Yeah, supposedly the GE has more duration, but I've heard that it doesn't as well...

Still need someone to take two new cams and have em profiled...
